Trekking Tour of Mount Rosa

This trekking follows a route that was used hundreds of years ago and passes through villages that have retained their characteristic feel and where many of the buildings can only be described as museum pieces due to their age and beauty.
The departure point is from the village of Cervinia, following easy paths we cross through all the principal valleys of Monte Rosa: Champoluc, Gressoney, Alagna e Macugnaga. From Macugnaga we cross over Monte Moro before crossing the Swiss border and descending into the charming village of Saas Fee. The tour continues in the direction of Grachen, Europahutte above Randa before reaching Zermatt. From here we cross over the historically famo us Colle del Teodulo to return to Italy and reach our goal of Cervinia The trail predominantly follows easy paths. During the ascent to the Teodulo pass we cross a flat Glacier for approx 2 hours. This should not present any problems as you will be accompanied by a UIAGM Mountain Guide. In some cases we will use lifts to avoid stages and are too long and demanding.
